Artist vs. Creativity Engineer

An artist is free to interpret what they see in any way they want, on any medium they want. To be honest, I’m a little jealous. The fact of the matter is, in advertising and marketing, we are bound by realities. Time. Budget. Media. Audience. I do not see these factors as constraints. On the contrary, that’s where the real creative process begins for me. I love the challenge of being able to scrutinize and test a concept, to make sure it is relevant and will connect with the targeted audience. I build, take apart and rebuild designs that are memorable and impactful. As a creativity engineer, I use both right and left hemispheres of my brain to construct the best creative solution based on understanding my clients’ needs and goals.
